The local Taco Bell in Houghton Lake was recently closed and left locals frustrated. The Taco Bell closed on September 22 due to a rat infestation. Customers noticed that there were rodents running in the kitchen and on the counters, leading them to report it. This then caused a restaurant inspection, in which Taco Bell did not pass. This lead Taco Bell to close and customers angry that rats had been by there food
One witness said,It was like there were more rodents than workers.
In the end, the Taco Bell location in Houghton Lake will be closed till exterminators come and clear the local fast food chain restaurant to reopen for business.
